The other morning I was leaving a class that was located on the second floor. Most of the attendees, who were not in the best shape, hopped on the elevator to get to the ground floor. I opted for the stairs. As I was approaching the stairwell well a slim, well-dressed woman emerged. It reminded me that you can fit exercise into any part of your day. It’s not just about making time for the gym but it is also about integrating activity throughout the day. Small changes like taking the stairs instead of the elevator and using that 15 minute break or part of the lunch hour to go on a walk can burn off a few extra calories as well as give you an energy boost.
